With every telescope rented from us, you receive the following accessories:
- 9x50 finder scope (straight-through)
- Bahtinov mask
- GPU coma corrector (Newtonian telescopes only)
- Collimation laser (temporarily & as needed)
- Appropriate camera adapters and required spacer rings must be brought along
- Focusing motors may only be mounted on our focusers after prior consultation. We recommend ZWO ASI focusing motors.
- For Newtonian telescopes: the position of the primary mirror cell may NOT be changed. Drilling new holes in the tube is strictly forbidden.
- The minimum rental period is 3 nights.
T001:
12" Newtonian with Pyrex HS and 100mm FS
per night
- 300 mm primary mirror with aperture ring
- Carbon–rigid foam construction without thermal expansion or flexure
- 360° rotatable 3" focuser with reduction
- Camera-side thread: M74x1 / M68x1 internal thread / 2" slip-fit with compression ring
- 2" GPU coma corrector (M48x0.75 on camera side) is screwed into the focuser via M68; working distance from the M48 thread to the camera sensor is 55 mm
- 3" dovetail rail / GP rail

Mounts
The following accessories are provided when renting a Rooisand mount:
- Tripod, unless the mount is already on a pier
- Polar scope (EQ6 only)
- Hand controller
- Sufficient counterweights
- 12V power supply
- 5-socket power strip with 5 m cable
If you want to operate the mount via external software or a laptop, please familiarise yourself with this in advance and bring all necessary cables, adapters, and other accessories. The connection between the mount and PC is exclusively via an EQDIR cable. We recommend the Pegasus version. - The minimum rental period is 3 nights
M001:
Sky-Watcher EQ-8
per night
- A heavy equatorial mount with a load capacity of up to 50 kg
- With an EQDIR cable from Pegasus — not included in the rental — the mount can be connected to a ZWO ASI-AIR, ToupTek StellaVita, or laptop
- Via an ST-4 port, the mount is compatible with all auto guiders that have an ST-4 output
- A 3" Losmandy clamp on the mount is used for attaching the telescope
- Sufficient counterweights are available

M002:
Sky-Watcher EQ6-AZ
per night
- The mount is available either on a steel pier or with a steel tripod.
- For astrophotography, the EQ6-AZ can be loaded with up to 20 kg
- Sufficient counterweights are available
- With an EQDIR cable from Pegasus — not included in the rental — the mount can be connected to a ZWO ASI-AIR, ToupTek StellaVita, or laptop
- A combination clamp (3" & GP) on the mount is used for attaching the telescope
- Mounting own instruments is possible, provided they are mounted on a 3" or GP dovetail rail
