Anfang 2018 wurde auf ROOISAND ein Planeten-Wanderweg eingerichtet.
Auf einer Länge von ca. 2,5km zwischen der Lodge und dem Observatorium können sie unser Sonnensystem durchlaufen. Maßstabsgetreu in Größe und Abstand (ca. 1:1,79 Milliarden) beginnen Sie an der Lodge bei unserer Sonne und erkunden dann Merkur, Venus, Erde, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus und Neptun, welcher sich dann am Ende des Wanderweges beim Observatorium befindet.

Die Lichtgeschwindigkeit beträgt in diesem Modell nur ca. 16,74 cm/s. Das bedeutet, dass sie sich als Wanderer mit ca. 8facher Lichtgeschwindigkeit durch unseren Planetenweg bewegen.
