No garbage is buried on ROOISAND - we take all our garbage to a recycling center in Windhoek, where it is properly disposed of.
Solar Energy
On our farm, we get 100% of our electricity from solar energy. Only during the rainy season do we have to use a generator on 5-10 days to cover our electricity needs.
Watermanagement
Water is a precious commodity in Namibia! We get our water from three on-site wells.

We only know organic meat! The meat at ROOISAND is exclusively game from our own hunting and butchering.
