Four of our comfort rooms can easily transform into family rooms, making it perfect for families.
Our main house is the heart of the ranch, featuring a delightful restaurant, a bar for your favorite drinks, a refreshing swimming pool, and fun activities like tennis, table tennis, and darts. After a day of adventure, relax in our inviting lounge, complete with a small library and a warm fireplace, perfect for those cooler evenings.

Cabins & Camping
Camping
At Rooisand, we offer five spacious, level campsites, each thoughtfully equipped with electricity, a cozy fireplace, and a convenient wash basin. Enjoy the comfort of a slatted roof for shade and the natural privacy provided by surrounding hedges. Campers will share access to the ablution block and various amenities for a pleasant stay.
Cabins
With the rising trend of self-drive campers traveling in groups, we've crafted the Rooisand Cabins to cater to both social gatherings and individual self-catering experiences. Our 10 two-bunk Cabins can be occupied freely, sharing the male/female ablution block, kitchen facilities including storage, a basin, and a gas stove, along with a welcoming seating and dining area. Nearby, the Beach Volleyball Court and a natural splash pool, which doubles as a watering hole for zebra, oryx, and other nocturnal visitors, provide endless entertainment amidst the stunning landscape and serene atmosphere. For larger groups or those seeking a touch more comfort while camping, we also offer furnished 3x3m igloo tents. For arrangements, please reach out with a detailed inquiry. Please note: The amenities at the farmhouse, including the tennis courts and the outdoor pool, are reserved for our rooming guests: Campers are welcome to participate in activities and join rooming guests for meals, but pre-booking arrangements are strongly advised.

Amenities & Activities
We offer our guests a choice of 5 spacious Comfort Double Rooms, close to the main house and amenities and with a great view of the beautiful garden and surrounds. Four of these rooms can be converted into family rooms. The four standard rooms are situated between the lapa area and the tennis courts. These twin rooms are ideal for singles, guides and budget travellers, while still offering two single beds each as well as an en-suite bathroom, a coffee station and outdoor seating with tranquil views across the Rooisand landscape. Please note, that this room type can only accommodate a maximum of 2 guests and the beds can not be placed next ot each other.
The Chalet is situated on a hill approximately 2,5 kilometres away from the ranch. It is fully equipped and comfortably furnished for a maximum of 4 self-caterers and offers 2 double rooms with en-suite bathrooms, a big living area including a verandah as well as a balcony.
Breath-taking sunsets, complete privacy and peace and 360° of spectacular views – guaranteed!
Please note that access to the chalet requires a vehicle with greater ground clearance, e.g. Toyota Hilux, Renault Duster or similar SUV’s.
The pre-booking of additional meals enjoyed at the ranch restaurant is required.
